Students & new members
The G1000 Skyhawk is a checkout goal, not a starting point: club rules require a private certificate, 75 hours total time, and the FITS ground course before G1000 flight training begins.
Instrument pilots
The full glass suite plus dual-axis autopilot make this the club's premier IFR trainer and traveler. The instrument checkout adds approach work with the G1000 and autopilot integration.
Fuel planning
Full fuel can exceed max gross with more than two aboard — the club fills to the tabs. Run the W&B every time; the useful load is the tightest in the fleet.
